Job summary

Exicom is seeking an experienced RMS Monitoring professional to oversee EV charger performance and issue resolution. You will analyze real-time data, diagnose anomalies, and guide remote and on-site troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of RMS/CMS platforms, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Travel for field support may be required, with collaboration across R&D and customer teams.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
  • 4-7 years of experience in EV Charging, Technical Support, Field Service, NOC, RMS Monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS), CMS, or similar monitoring platforms.
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, or SQL is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret logs, identify trends, and turn data into insights.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor RMS dashboards to detect EV charger issues and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Analyze real-time charger data to identify anomalies, failure trends, and recurring issues.
  • Support the Customer Support team by diagnosing technical issues remotely through RMS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve field issues remotely and through on-site visits when required.
  • Simulate field scenarios in the lab to reproduce, investigate, and debug reported issues.
  • Ensure timely remote firmware deployment, monitor firmware performance, and recommend improvements.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize charger downtime and improve fleet reliability.
  • Collaborate with R&D by providing data-driven insights and supporting issue resolution.
  • Analyze charger performance data and recommend hardware, firmware, or software improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvements in the RMS platform by proposing new features, UI enhancements, and automation capabilities.
  • Develop and optimize remote monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms using rule engines and notifications.
  • Integrate EV chargers with customer/OEM backend systems and support commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate with customers on RMS-related issues, technical queries, and performance reviews.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly charger health, uptime, and performance reports for management and customers.
  • Present technical findings, failure analysis, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Train Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, and new employees on product functionality, RMS usage, and new features.
  • Create and maintain troubleshooting guides, SOPs, and technical documentation.

Your Profile


  • Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Mechatronics, or related discipline.

  • 4-7 years of experience in EV Charging, Technical Support, Field Service, NOC, RMS Monitoring

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.

  • Familiarity with Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS), CMS, or similar monitoring platforms.

  • Understanding of EV charging systems, OCPP, networking fundamentals, firmware updates, and backend integrations is preferred.

  • Experience working with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or SQL is an advantage.

  • Ability to interpret logs, identify trends, and convert operational data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with customers and cross-functional teams.

  • Self-driven, customer-focused, and willing to travel for field support when required.
