Job summary

HR Innovation Group is hiring a New Product Development (NPD) Manager for wiring harness systems at our Pune location. The role requires a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering and 5–8 years of NPD experience in the automotive wiring harness sector.

The incumbent will drive end-to-end NPD activities, coordinate with customers and suppliers, manage ECN/ECR, and ensure adherence to IATF 16949/ISO 9001 standards while delivering samples on time.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in wiring harness NPD / automotive industry.
• Experience with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) activities for wiring harness projects.
• Drive APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and product validation processes (complete documentation).
• Ensure technical feasibility, process design validation, and timely sample approvals.
• Coordinate with Cross Functional Teams (CFT), customers, and suppliers.
• Manage ECN/ECR, customer drawings, specifications, and change management.
• Ensure control of Special Characteristics and compliance with IATF 16949 standards.
• Review and update development documents; share status updates with customers.
• Evaluate supplier submissions and manage non-conforming materials.

Role Overview

The NPD Manager will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of new product development for wiring harness systemsfrom concept to mass production—ensuring technical feasibility, quality compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) activities for wiring harness projects
