Job summary

Talent Hr Networks in Pune seeks an Assistant / Deputy Manager LV Connector Design & Development to own the full lifecycle of automotive connector systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with mechanical or electrical focus.
• Strong CAD modeling and design validation experience in automotive connectors.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, GD&T, VAVE, prototyping and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D activities: design reviews, DFMEA, documentation, and testing support.
• Drive cost reduction through VAVE, localization and standardization across OEMs.
• Develop next-gen connectors (PCB, EMI shielding, miniaturization, modular designs).
• Support plants, customers and suppliers while building local design capabilities.

Key Responsibilities / KPIs

• R&D skill upgradation: design reviews, approvals, DFMEA, documentation, DFM/testing support, project coordination.
• Cost reduction & VAVE: localization of connectors and raw materials, development of VAVE products, standardization across OEMs.
• New technology adoption: design and develop nextgeneration connectors (PCB connectors, advanced contact technology, miniaturization, EMI shielding, environmental sealing, modular designs).
• Support plant, customer, and supplier requirements while building local design competencies and contributing to global affiliate projects.

• Internal: Reports to Team Lead; collaborates with peers and junior engineers.
• External: Liaises with suppliers, customers, and service providers.
