Job summary

Japanese Auto Component Company is seeking a Lead Wiring Harness Design to drive complete vehicle harness development for LV and HV systems. You will lead cross-functional teams, adopt new technologies such as lightweight harnesses and EV-specific HV harnesses, and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 11–18 years of hands-on experience in automotive wiring harness design and development.
• Experience with LV/HV harness design and vehicle-level integration.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and connector selection.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete vehicle wiring harness design and development for LV and HV systems, including adoption of new technologies such as lightweight harnesses, EV-specific HV harnesses, and smart harnesses.
• Manage end-to-end project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resources, ensuring milestones are achieved and risks mitigated.
• Drive effective communication and collaboration across departments and with customers, providing clear reporting and technical presentations.
• Implement Engineering Change Notices (ECN) as per customer schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Propose and implement VAVE ideas to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Prepare and present technical reports and harness studies, ensuring audit-ready documentation.

Location: Delhi

Function: Engineering – R&D

Reports to: Senior Manager / DGM

Job Purpose: To provide backoffice engineering support for new and existing business, leading wiring harness design and development projects, and managing crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality solutions.

Experience Requirement: 11–18 years of handson experience in automotive wiring harness (LV/HV) design and development, with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, connector and component selection, and vehiclelevel harness integration.

Key Responsibilities:
