Job summary

Sentec India is seeking a Purchase Engineer specialized in cold forging and casting to drive vendor development and APQP planning. You will coordinate with the technical team to review development plans and ensure target dates are met, aligning supplier activities with engineering requirements.

Ideal candidates will have experience in automotive component manufacturing, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

Experience in vendor development for plastics/rubber preferred
Familiarity with APQP and PPAP processes
Ability to review and align development plans with technical teams

Responsibilities

Develop and select vendors for cold forging and casting
Coordinate APQP activities and timeline with suppliers
Collect and review development plans and target dates from vendors
Ensure plan specifications meet engineering requirements
