Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) seeks an experienced infrastructure engineer to own end‑to‑end delivery for a medical device computing platform, covering server, storage, networking, virtualization, and Windows OS. You will design, deploy, verify, and document infrastructure components.

Based in Mysore, Karnataka (Mysuru), salary budget is 20–25 LPA with relocation support and up to 30 days notice. Ideal candidate has 8+ years in enterprise infrastructure in regulated environments and strong automation

Qualifications

• Experience with NAS/storage technologies and virtualization platforms.
• Ability to manage hardware lifecycle and firmware updates.
• Strong Windows Server administration and enterprise OS management.
• Experience in cybersecurity hardening and patch management.
• Ability to produce design artefacts and implementation plans.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and maintain infrastructure across server, storage, networking, virtualization, and OS domains.
• Support hardware refreshes, OS upgrades, firmware updates, and lifecycle activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot NAS, network switches, UPS, and Windows platforms.
• Contribute to cybersecurity hardening, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
• Produce technical documentation, design artefacts, impact assessments, and implementation plans.

Role & responsibilities :

We need an experienced engineer to support the development and lifecycle management of a medical device computing platform comprising:

• HP Enterprise Servers
• Virtual Machines (Windows-based)
• NAS Storage
• Network Management Systems
• Managed Network Switches
• UPS
• Windows Operating Systems
• Cybersecurity Controls

Key Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and maintain infrastructure solutions across server, storage, networking, virtualisation, and operating system domains.
• Support hardware refreshes, OS upgrades, firmware updates, and infrastructure lifecycle activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot NAS, network switches, UPS devices, and Windows-based platforms.
• Assess technical impacts of infrastructure changes and support verification activities.
• Contribute to cybersecurity hardening, patch management, monitoring, and system reliability improvements.
• Produce technical documentation, design artefacts, impact assessments, and implementation plans.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on engineer capable of owning infrastructure work packages end-to-end, including design, implementation, verification, and technical documentation. The candidate should be comfortable working across multiple technologies rather than specializing in a single domain.

Preferred Experience: 8+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering within enterprise or regulated environments.
