Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is seeking a Networking/Infrastructure Engineer to support a medical device computing platform, covering servers, NAS storage, virtualization, and cybersecurity. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership of infrastructure work packages across multiple technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware and firmware lifecycle management.
• Strong systems engineering mindset and structured problem solving.
• Exposure to NAS/storage technologies and enterprise networking.
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration and virtualization platforms (Hyper-V/VMware).
• Experience with OS deployment and upgrade processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and maintain infrastructure across server, storage, networking, virtualization, and OS domains.
• Support hardware refreshes, OS upgrades, firmware updates, and lifecycle activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot NAS, switches, UPS, and Windows-based platforms.
• Assess technical impacts of infrastructure changes and support verification activities.
• Contribute to cybersecurity hardening, patch management, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
• Produce technical documentation, design artefacts, impact assessments, and implementation plans.

Networking/Infrastructure Engineer

We need an experienced engineer to support the development and lifecycle management of a medical device computing platform comprising:

• HP Enterprise Servers
• Virtual Machines (Windows-based)
• NAS Storage
• Network Management Systems
• Managed Network Switches
• UPS
• Windows Operating Systems
• Cybersecurity Controls

Key Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and maintain infrastructure solutions across server, storage, networking, virtualisation, and operating system domains.
• Support hardware refreshes, OS upgrades, firmware updates, and infrastructure lifecycle activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot NAS, network switches, UPS devices, and Windows-based platforms.
• Assess technical impacts of infrastructure changes and support verification activities.
• Contribute to cybersecurity hardening, patch management, monitoring, and system reliability improvements.
• Produce technical documentation, design artefacts, impact assessments, and implementation plans.

A hands-on engineer capable of owning infrastructure work packages end-to-end, including design, implementation, verification, and technical documentation. The candidate should be comfortable working across multiple technologies rather than specializing in a single domain.

Preferred Experience: 5+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering within enterprise or regulated environments.
