Must-Have:
- Capable of describing in detail, maintaining and troubleshooting Wireless Campus technologies in the scope of an end-to-end wireless service
- Hands-on experience implementing, administering, monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting Wireless environments
- Solid knowledge with Cisco wireless technologies, including Cisco WLC and vWLC controllers
- Comfortable with Corporate wireless, guest wireless and mission-critical factory environments
- Operational understanding of network security principles and practices, DOT1X, MAB, Port security and Cisco ISE.
- Experience using standard enterprise tools to log, track, or produce documentation
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Able to work autonomously in task execution or collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Good to have:
- Experience with Cisco LAN and Firewall portfolios
- Strong knowledge of switching protocols, including Ethernet, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and LAN segmentation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols, including BGP and static routing.
- Operational knowledge of SDWAN technology and wireless deployment options in Campus Fabric environments
- Operational knowledge with Cisco Firewalls (Firepower, ASA) under orchestrators management (FMC, CSM).
- Operational knowledge with DDI technologies, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies, including packet capture, port mirror, CLI techniques
- CCNP, CCIE or other industry certifications
- Working knowledge of automation and network-as-code
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, and maintain wireless networks across multiple locations and within each single site
- Support the setup and roll-out of monitoring and management solutions
- Document network architecture, protocols and features
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Perform network capacity and capability assessments, monitor network performance, and implement necessary lifecycle upgrades
- Fully operate wireless networks across multiple locations or within a single site, ensuring high availability and optimal performance in a user-centric service quality perspective
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures for wireless infrastructure
- Implement and maintain network security measures to safeguard wireless infrastructure from potential threats or vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular network assessments, audits, and service quality evaluations
- Support regular business demands and associated changes safeguarding continuous operations while focused on business intent
- Provide technical support to other IT support teams, assisting in troubleshooting complex network issues
- Contribute positively to the evaluation of evolution, improvement or optimization opportunities in alignment with business objectives
- Stay updated of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in LAN networking for continuous improvement
