Job summary

Wipro Chennai is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to manage Cisco routers, layer 3/2 switches, WAN optimization, and SD-WAN technologies, with 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience.

You will implement and troubleshoot Cisco IOS/Nexus, DELL networking devices, wireless controllers, ISE, and NAC solutions, while providing periodic reports to management and supporting global clients on a 24/7 shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in configuring and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and VPN technologies.
• Hands-on with Cisco IOS/Nexus devices and wireless controllers.
• Exposure to monitoring tools and incident documentation.
• Experience working with multi-country clients and 24/7 support.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge on Cisco Routers, layer 3 and layer 2 Switches configuration and administration
• Experience in routing and switching
• Knowledge and experience of WAN Optimization and SD-WAN Products Silver Peak, Riverbed
• Project infrastructure deployment involving in LAN, WAN and SD WAN Technologies
• Knowledge on Cisco IOS and Nexus devices
• Knowledge on DELL networking products
• Hands on experience in configuring and troubleshooting wireless controllers Cisco and Aruba products
• Configuring and troubleshooting CISCO 5500, 9800 MODEL WLCs with CISCO 3800 and 9300 model access points
• Working Knowledge on CISCO ISE
• Work experience with Aruba ClearPass for NAC troubleshooting
• Knowledge on routing protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
• Knowledge on STP, RSTP, NHRP, HSRP protocols
• Knowledge on configuring and troubleshooting DMVPN technology
• Good understanding on MPLS, IPsec technologies
• Hands on experience in VPN technologies, Cisco AnyConnect client VPN
• Providing permanent remediation for affected endpoints in our network environment
• Provide daily / weekly / monthly remediation reports to management
• Documenting network issues related Incidents with in-depth event logs, RCA and evidence
• IOS / firmware upgrade in Cisco, DELL network devices as and when required
• Knowledge on monitoring tools like SolarWinds, LogicMonitor
• Experience in SNOW ticketing tool
• Provide weekly / monthly report on network related incidents, project activities to client and management
• Update SMTD document as and when there is a change / update in network environment
• Troubleshooting of Incidents and Service tickets on network related issues
• Implementing network related changes through Change tickets
• Involving in daily / weekly / monthly Operations meeting with the management
• Experience in handling clients from multiple countries
• Excellent communication and written skills
