Job summary

Infosys in Hyderabad is seeking an Automation Network Testing Engineer with 3–8 years of Telecom/Networking experience to design, develop, and run automated tests for networking and telecom applications.

You will build automation frameworks with Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, and Java, perform API and system testing, and contribute to continuous quality improvements in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of Telecom/Networking experience.
• Strong expertise in network testing, automation frameworks, network protocols, API testing, Selenium and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Telecom OSS/BSS, Network Management Systems, and automation using Java or Robot Framework, Playwright is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for networking and telecom applications.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and End-to-End testing.
• Validate network configurations, routing, switching, and telecom network functionalities.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Execute API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, and REST APIs.
• Analyze packet captures using Wireshark and troubleshoot network issues.
• Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Create test plans, test scenarios, test data, and automation scripts.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Prepare test execution reports and defect metrics.
