Job summary

Infosys in Hyderabad is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design and implement automated tests across web and API layers. You will build robust frameworks using Playwright/Selenium, automate APIs with REST Assured or Karate, and run performance tests with JMeter or Gatling in an Agile setup.

You should have 3-5 years in software testing, strong CI/CD experience, and familiarity with JIRA/qTest for defect tracking. Cloud and OSS/BSS exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Software Testing / Quality Engineering experience.
• Hands-on in Playwright or Selenium automation.
• Strong API automation using REST Assured, Postman or Karate.
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and defect tracking (JIRA, qTest).
• Knowledge of telecom OSS/BSS testing is a plus.

• Exposure to Network Inventory, Service Fulfillment, Fault Management, and Performance Management platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of telecom/network protocols such as SNMP, TCP/IP, NETCONF, and gRPC.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, or ALM.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, or ELK Stack.
• Experience working in DevOps environments and implementing automated quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.
• Telecom domain certifications or Automation / Performance Testing certifications.
• Experience working with leading telecom operators, network equipment providers, or OSS product vendors.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and defect management skills.
