Job summary

Isha Foundation in India is seeking a Telecom Network Engineer to support and optimize critical telecom services, including SIP, PRI, broadband and fiber connections.

The role emphasizes monitoring service availability, coordinating issue resolution, and liaising with major vendors to ensure smooth field deployments and user support.

You will handle SIM management, IVR operations, bulk SMS processes and detailed reporting to sustain reliable communications across sites.

Responsibilities

• Support SIP, PRI, Broadband, AIR Fiber, and enterprise telecom services.
• Monitor telecom service availability, connectivity, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Handle new SIM activations, replacements, deactivations, CUG, and mobile number management.
• Manage IVR queues, agent mapping, user creation, password resets, and calling application support.
• Manage Bulk SMS operations, DLT templates, headers, and vendor follow-up for SMS delivery issues.
• Coordinate broadband/fiber installations, shifting, closures, fiber troubleshooting, and internal fiber splicing.
• Coordinate with Airtel, BSNL, Jio, VI, and other vendors for service requests, approvals, escalations, and site visits.
• Support mobile network coverage analysis, tower feasibility, and coverage improvement activities.
• Maintain telecom documentation, service records, weekly reports, downtime tracking, and operational follow-ups.
• Provide end-user support for telecom-related requests and coordinate field support activities.
