Job summary

Airtel Cloud solutions enables enterprises to accelerate digital transformation by offering an integrated multi-cloud portfolio. As Network admin, you will participate in deployment life-cycle, design, implementation, and support of cloud infrastructure for our clients.

You will work with clients and engineering teams to manage platform capacity and support delivery operations of network services across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on L3 network hardware experience with enterprise gear.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF).
• Experience with LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Datacenter and cloud networks.
• Familiarity with security concepts (NAT, ACL, IPsec) and firewall management.

Responsibilities

• Get the most out of network performance by assessing, troubleshooting, upgrading and coordinating with engineers.
• Investigate data network failures in LAN/WAN environments across multiple sources.
• Apply and monitor security policies, monitor access, and administer firewall settings.

As Network admin, you will participate in all aspects of the Deployment life-cycle of Airtels cloud network environments which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of Cloud infrastructure for our clients.

He/she will work directly with the client and our engineering teams to manage the capacity of the overall platform and support delivery operations of network services.

Responsibilities

• Get the most out of network routine performance by set assessment, troubleshoot the network issues and outages, setting up upgrades and cooperating with network architects on its optimization
• Undertake investigations of data network failure in LAN and WAN surroundings through multiple sources
• Safeguard the network systems by creating and applying policies, along with monitoring access
• Administer firewall settings in line with IT security strategy
• Report network operational rank by collecting data through various projects
• Upgrade data network devices to the new stable platform
• Configure routing and switching tools, hosted IP voice services and firewalls in on-prem and cloud based environments
• Provide remote support to field engineers and customers during installation
• Deliver remote resolution and problem finding if issues occur upon early installation procedure
• Capacity management and audit of IP network structure and hosted equipment within the IT infrastructure
• Communicate with project management teams, concerned engineers and service engineers routinely

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on L3 level experience on Network Hardwares of OEM’s like Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/Palo Alto
• Experience in routing protocols, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Extensive support of Routing Protocols/Technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS VPN, Multicast.
• Good understanding and knowledge of Network and Security.
• Experience in managing LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Datacentre, and Cloud Networks as well as Site-to-Site VPN connectivity.
• Load Balancers: Troubleshoot hardware and software operation. Strong knowledge of all data flow through the load balancer.
• Strong practical knowledge of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPN, network protocols, port configuration, link aggregation, spanning tree optimization, and performance tuning.
• Security Fundamentals: Should be able to understand / Explain concepts (NAT, ACL, Access Groups, IPsec, AAA) & have working knowledge and be able to troubleshoot network Protocols.
• Knowledge of Meraki Wireless and wired environments and technologies
• Experience with Cisco Nexus technologies.
• Experience with latest SDWAN technologies (Meraki/Velo Cloud etc) would be an added benefit
• Good understanding of SASE/CASB and Zero trust networks are required.
• A good understanding and experience on Cloud networking(VPC’s, Cloud gateways, NGFW’s etc) are required
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix command line.
• Knowledge of various NW management tools used in enterprise networks.
• Proficiency in Handling Network related issues regarding cisco, firewall, endpoint, etc.
