Role & responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• High level of skills in areas of Enterprise NetworkServices and Solutions and managing large globally distributed clients.
• Handled multi-vendor / platform technologies and supporting vast networkdevices in a distributed environment
• Must have implemented medium to large scale projects like SD WAN or SDN, LAN / WAN multi branch / locations etc.,
• Professional and above level knowledge in Cisco, Juniper or equivalent technologies.
• Strong communication skills and documentation proficiency
• In-depth hands-on experience in handling 24- 7 operations in MSP/ ISP/ IDC/ NOC/ outsourcing and shared services environment
• Handled all areas of operations/ delivery including incident, problem and change management as per ITIL framework
• Good exposure in the ticketing system, triage and escalation of items according to the severity
• Liaise with the technical teams to ensure all procedures, training, checklists, workarounds, etc. remain complete and relevant
• Document and maintain a lesson-learned (RCA) database (KBs) and ensure a constant culture of improvement
• Tuning automated systems to have useful alerts, to include writing new checks and adjusting thresholds
• Working with the team members to accomplish all the work duties including training procedures and fundamentals
• Review the need forresources and skills within the team and plan forskill development programs
• Capacity planning, proactive cost optimization / resource optimization experience.
• Maintain,develop and follow a process, policies and procedures as per the guidelines
• Efficient in Reporting on several work aspects including client calls, Emails, Ticketing, and Smart sheets
• Transition support including Knowledge transfer, provisioning, and implementation of new accounts into the shared environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

TechnicalRequirements:

• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in operations management
• Strong troubleshooting skills in network-related issues (Node/Link Down, Latency, Packet Drops, Bandwidth and Security)
• Profound knowledge of WAF, Firewalls, SDN / LAN/WAN Switching & Routing protocols & commands
• Good knowledge of Wireless Controllers, Access points.
• Good knowledge of Zscaler web firewall.
• Good hands-on experience on CISCO (Router, Switch and Firewall) and Juniper (Router, Switch, Firewall) networkvendors.
• Detailed knowledge of networksniffing tools like Wireshark and TCP dumps.
• Detailed knowledge of the OSI model.
• Detailed knowledge of Dynamic Routing Protocol (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and VRF creation.
• Detail knowledge in switching technologies (VLAN, STP, VTP, VSS, VDC, VPC, Ether Channel, Stacking)
• Detail knowledge in Firewall technologies (Inspection, Capture date foranalyzing, Failover, Stateless flow, Policy Map)
• Detail knowledge of QoS to configure in Router, Firewall and Switch forData and Voice Traffic.
• Good knowledge of ACL filtering (Router, Switch, and Firewall)
• Good knowledge to achieve High availability with (Cisco, and Juniper)
• Good knowledge of protocols IP SLA, EEM Script, IPsec, SSL VPN.
• Good knowledge of configuring NAT on Cisco, and Juniper. Detailed knowledge with Meraki Wireless to add new devices, troubleshoot issues and configuration.
• Advanced troubleshooting skill.
