Job summary

L&T Finance seeks an IT Network Manager to lead design, implementation, and management of network infrastructure across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments. You will ensure smooth operation of networks and regulatory compliance, while coordinating with Infosec and DevOps teams.

The role requires 10+ years in enterprise networking, strong scripting skills, and proficiency with monitoring tools. You will drive optimization, documentation, and supplier relationships across global environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ Years of experience managing OEM (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet) TAC.
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, Dynatrace etc.
• Experience of Regulatory and Compliance requirement and adherence.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain enterprise-grade firewalls, including Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet FortiGate and GCP NGFW.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN architecture, routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Implement and manage network segmentation, access control policies, and VPNs for hybrid environments.
• Engage in troubleshooting issues and provide corrective and preventive action with root cause analysis.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive improvements.
• Maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, IP schema, and SOPs.
• Participate in network security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
• Design, deploy, and manage robust network infrastructure across cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and on-prem data centers.
• Lead cloud network initiatives, including VPC/VNet design, interconnectivity, peering, and Direct Connect/ExpressRoute configurations.
• Collaborate with Infosec and DevOps teams to ensure secure, automated, and scalable network architecture.
• Evaluating the business requirement and translating it into technical requirement
• Managing stakeholders expectations by communication, updates and discussion
• Working with Suppliers to source the Network devices, services and maintain and evaluate supplier relationships for achieving the organizational objectives
