Job summary

Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) invites applications for a hands-on System Administrator on a contract-to-hire basis to manage and support enterprise IT systems, servers, virtualization platforms, backup environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and related network operations.

Key responsibilities include administering Windows Servers, AD, DNS, VMware/Hyper-V, and protecting data with Veeam, along with ISO 27001:2022 compliant processes.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in System Administration / IT Operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, VMware/Hyper-V, Veeam and Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of firewalls and L2 networking.
• CCNA or MCSE certifications preferred.
• ISO 27001:2022 practices familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Servers, Active Directory, Domain Services and DNS
• Manage VMware and Hyper-V environments
• Manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions, including Veeam
• Support data centre operations and ensure high system availability
• Provide L2 network support, troubleshooting connectivity and network-related issues

• Manage Microsoft 365 administration, security and compliance
• Handle system incidents, root-cause analysis and timely resolution
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs and operational records
• Support IT processes and documentation aligned with ISO 27001:2022

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Profile

• BCA, MCA, BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in Computer Science / IT
• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in System Administration / IT Operations
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, VMware, Hyper-V, Veeam and Microsoft 365
• Working knowledge of firewalls and L2 networking
• CCNA, MCSE or similar certifications will be preferred
• Good understanding of IT security and ISO 27001:2022 practices
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, teamwork and time-management skills
