Job summary

CSS Corp in Chennai is seeking networking security professionals to handle TAC-based support, focusing on troubleshooting, analysis, and customer satisfaction. The role requires hands-on skills in TCP/IP, OSI layers, VPNs, firewalls and related security technologies, with preference for CCNA and international support exposure.

The position operates on a rotational night shift, with responsibilities to resolve cases, update tickets, and ensure timely closure while maintaining high service quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Network Security Troubleshooting and Traffic Analysis.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Model, Routing & Switching, Firewalls and VPN.
• Analysis: Network packet analysis using Wireshark.
• Very strong fundamental networking skills with knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI stack for troubleshooting.
• Experience with network security technologies such as Proxies, NG Firewalls, SSL/IPSec, VPNs, SSO.
• Familiarity with DLP and Encryption gateways.
• Knowledge of Security, Firewalls, perimeter control, vulnerability management and intrusion detection.
• Ability to troubleshoot network problems using utilities like lookup, traceroute, ping, netstat and packet sniffers (Wireshark, TCPdump, HAR Captures).
• International Support experience preferable.
• CCNA certification preferable.

Responsibilities

• Experience in TAC Environment like Firewall and SASE domains.
• Work in a dynamic TAC environment with a high focus on customer satisfaction and deliver a remarkable customer experience.
• Check the case queue and clear the cases before the end of the shift.
• Assist customers with Netskope products and services.
• Update Zendesk (ZD) with case updates and set SLA accordingly.
• Manage caseloads and backlog in a timely manner, drive them to closure.
• Take ownership for problem resolution, reproduction and escalation.

• Candidate should have very strong fundamental “core” networking skills, with thorough knowledge of TCP/IP Protocol suite, OSI layered architecture and should be able to relate that knowledge in troubleshooting related issues
• Excellent knowledge and prior experience supporting network security technologies such as Proxies, NG Firewalls, SSL/IPSec, VPNs, SSO
• Familiarity with DLP and Encryption gateways.
• Proven knowledge and practical application of Security, Firewalls, access and perimeter control, vulnerability management and intrusion detection.
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot various network problems using utilities like lookup, traceroute, ping, net stat and packet sniffers like wire shark, TCP dump and HAR Captures (HTTP Archive) etc
• International Support experience preferable.
• CCNA certification is preferable
