Job summary

Sutherland is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) specialist to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise networks from Hyderabad. The role emphasizes hands-on routing, switching, firewall administration, and incident handling at the L2 level.

The candidate should be proficient with TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF/BGP, VPNs and diagnostic tools such as SolarWinds or Nagios, and familiar with ITIL processes to manage incidents, problems and changes effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Network Operations (NOC).
• Hands-on knowledge of Routing and Switching concepts and technologies.
• Experience with Firewall administration and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, ACLs, NAT, VPNs, and DNS.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, or similar.
• Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills at the L2 support level.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Ability to analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
