The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Juniper infrastructure, expertise in BGP, OSPF, and MPLS, and strong analytical problem-solving skills. This role offers a 5-day work week with global shift rotations and participation in L2 on-call rotation.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer (L2) to support our global backbone and corporate network infrastructure. You will work within a global team across multiple time zones to ensure high availability, performance, and security for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Backbone Operations: Operate high-availability IP/MPLS backbone using Juniper MX/EX hardware, manage IP Transit, and oversee DDoS protection platforms.
• Corporate & Customer Support: Maintain Cisco Nexus switches, A10 load balancers, and diverse firewall environments.
• Provisioning: Handle customer network services including IPT, MPLS L3VPNs, and Cloud Connect services.
• Operational Excellence: Serve as an L2 escalation point, lead maintenance activities, and maintain technical documentation.
• Automation: Collaborate with software teams to implement automation tools (Python/Ansible) to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5-7 years of hands‑on network operations experience with Juniper infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VRRP.
• Experience in large‑scale multi‑AS environments.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
• Preferred Certifications: CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIP/JNCIE, Cisco DevNet.

Schedule & Logistics

• 5-day work week with global shift rotations (Asia, Europe, Americas).
• Participation in L2 on‑call rotation.
