Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in India is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to manage routing & switching, VPNs, and firewall configurations across core networks. You will handle BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, MPLS, and VRF concepts while supporting Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN environments.

The role involves daily operational duties on Layer 1-7, including TCP/IP, load balancing, and device upgrades (IOS/NX-OS). CCNP, Juniper, and Meraki certifications are a plus, with exposure to wireless setups like Aruba.

Qualifications

• Experience in Core Network Administration and daily operational hands-on network duties.
• Expertise in routing and switching with BGP/OSPF/EIGRP and MPLS.
• Hands-on with L2/L3 switches, STP, VTP, HSRP, VXR/VRF concepts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Layer 1-7 networking infrastructure.
• Configure routing protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Participate in upgrades (IOS/NX-OS) and device hardening.

• Routing & Switching , Cisco Meraki, SDWAN, Firewall, Pulse VPN


• experience in Core Network Administration


• Network Routing & Switching - EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, STP, VTP, HSRP, Port channel, Stack switch, IOS/NXOS upgrade, Cisco Meraki, SDWAN, Juniper, Cisco Catalyst, Pulse VPN


• Expertise in Routing - BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS & VRF concept.

Switching – STP, VTP, Port Channeling, VLAN Trunk, QOS, HSRP & VRRP.

Daily operational hands-on network duties working with Layer 1-7 switching, TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP, and load balancing (Cisco L2/L3 switches, firewalls)

Good-to-Have:

CCNP Certification, Juniper and Meraki Certification

• Good Knowledge in Cisco and Aruba wireless. Pulse Secure SSL, VPN .
