Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned network security engineer to design and support complex enterprise networks. You will work on OSI model, routing, switching, SD-WAN, and wireless solutions, coordinating with global teams to ensure high availability.

You will configure and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus/Catalyst, WLCs, ISE, F5, Infoblox, and Meraki deployments; maintain documentation; evaluate new technologies; and propose improvements for overall network health.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of OSI model, routing, switching, SD-WAN, and wireless networks.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus/Catalyst, WLCs, ISE, F5, Infoblox, and Meraki deployments.
• Familiarity with DNS, HTTP, SSL, 802.1x, DMVPN, RADIUS, TACACS+.
• Good documentation and proposal-writing skills; ability to work in rotational shifts.

• Understand BU requirements and propose effective network solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices and security features.
• Maintain detailed design and operation documentation.
• Collaborate with global teams to support migration and project delivery.

• Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written and able to support in rotational shifts.
• Flexible in working hours to support global project and migration during non-business hours.
• Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation on each project.
• Knowledge in advanced networking and infra security domain
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving the overall network health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency
