Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise networks spanning LAN/WAN, MPLS, QOS and data center environments. The role requires strong expertise in BGP/OSPF, packet trace analysis, and multi-vendor firewall platforms.

You will work with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, F5, Check Point and Palo Alto devices, and engage in private/public/hybrid cloud contexts, including hyper-converged infrastructure and IP/DNS

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years of experience in an enterprise level Network engineering role, including network administration with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, F5, Check Point and Palo Alto.
• Experience with next generation architecture: private/public/hybrid cloud, containers and hyper-converged infra.

Job description

• Demonstrable experience in LAN/WAN, MPLS, QOS, multicast and core networking discipline, including advanced routing protocols, BGP, OSPF and IP converged networks
• Proficient OSI layer 1-7 troubleshooting. Ability to analyze, trace and understand a Packet along a transaction lifecycle end-to-end.
• Circuit, Vendor, Partner relationship and tracking experiencing.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in an enterprise level Network engineering role, which includes network administration experience with Cisco, juniper Fortinet, F5, Checkpoint, Palo Alto.
• Working experience with next generation architecture: private/public/hybrid cloud, containers and hyper-converged infrastructure.
• Knowledge of network domain administration, platforms and principles, to include route/switch protocols, WAN/LAN, wireless networking, datacenter, high-availability design, Application Delivery Controller, Web Application Firewall, Domain Name Service and IP management, Cloud Platforms, Denial of Service Protection, Data Analytics and Network Monitoring.
