Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in India is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer (IP) to lead hands-on IP/MPLS configurations and multi-layer network integrations. You will work on BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS VPNs, and validate L2/L3 services, routing instances, and traffic flow in complex environments.

The role covers change execution, pre/post validation, and coordination with design, build, and operations teams to ensure end-to-end service activation.

• Ability to Configure and verify: L2/L3 services, Routing instances
• Knowledge of: Traffic flow and routing behaviour
• Experience in: Pre/Post change validation and execution
• Ability to Perform: Planned implementations, Service activations
• Strong understanding of: Rollback procedures and risk mitigation
• Ability to Use: Optical IP layer integration during provisioning
• End‑to‑end service activation workflows and cross-team coordination
• ITIL‑based change management processes and change logs
• Configuration documentation and standardisation
• Automation tools and provisioning frameworks, Python/CLI scripting
• Templates and Automated workflows
• Software upgrades, patches and version control

Responsibilities

• Plan deployments and service activations.
• Coordinate across design, build, and operations teams to ensure smooth handoff.
