Job summary

Visara Human Capital Services seeks a Cisco SD-WAN L3 Engineer for a Mumbai-based role. You will provide L3 support, design, implement, and troubleshoot Cisco SD-WAN/Viptela in enterprise WAN environments.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on Cisco SD-WAN experience, CCNP certification, and strong knowledge of vManage, vSmart, vBond, BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, IPsec, MPLS, and WAN Edge. You will handle critical incidents and drive optimization.

Qualifications

• CCNP Certification – Mandatory.
• Cisco SD-WAN / Cisco Viptela – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with vManage, vSmart, vBond, and WAN Edge.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Cisco SD-WAN experience.
• Strong L3 troubleshooting experience.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Experience with OMP, BFD, TLOCs, Control Policies, and Data Policies.
• Strong understanding of IPsec, VPN, WAN, and MPLS.
• Experience in Cisco SD-WAN deployment, operations, and troubleshooting.
• Experience handling critical incidents and major network escalations.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for Cisco SD-WAN and enterprise WAN environments.
• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN/Viptela solutions.
• Work extensively with vManage, vSmart, vBond, and WAN Edge routers.
• Troubleshoot overlay and underlay connectivity, control connections, OMP routing, IPsec tunnels, BFD sessions, and application–aware routing.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, static routing, NAT, QoS, ACLs, and security policies.
• Work with MPLS, Internet, and LTE transports.
• Manage SD-WAN templates, policies, software upgrades, certificate management, and onboarding/ZTP.
• Support migration from traditional WAN infrastructure to Cisco SD-WAN architecture.
• Handle critical incidents, perform RCA, and drive proactive performance optimization.
• Coordinate with OEM/TAC teams during major incidents and escalations.
• Create HLD, LLD, SOPs, implementation plans, and operational documentation.

We are looking for a highly skilled Cisco SD-WAN L3 Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN (Viptela), enterprise WAN, routing, troubleshooting, and network security.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3+ years of hands‑on Cisco SD-WAN deployment and operations experience and must hold an active/valid CCNP certification.

Mandatory Skills —

• Experience in customer‑facing environments and handling technical escalations.

Preferred / Good‑to‑Have Skills

• ENSDWI certification
• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
• Cisco ISR/ASR platform experience
• Python, REST APIs, or Ansible
• Cloud connectivity: AWS, Azure, or GCP
