Job summary

NTT America, Inc. seeks an experienced network engineer to design and manage large-scale LAN/WAN, SDN and cloud networking across data centers. The role demands hands-on expertise with carrier-grade routing, switching, and SD-WAN architectures in a demanding enterprise environment.

The candidate will work with Cisco and Juniper platforms, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, and SLB technologies, ensuring security, performance, and reliability. Mumbai-based, on-site position with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate (preferably Science or Engg.) with good communications skills.
• CCNP or equivalent network certification.
• Desirable AWS or Azure cloud networking certification.
• 8+ years of hands-on LAN, SDN, WAN, SDWAN, DC Networking, Cloud networking, WiFi, SLB experience.
• Experience with ITSM, BMC Entuity, SNOW APM, NPM tools.
• Strong understanding of VLAN, VTP, DTP, 802.1Q, STP, MSTP, BGP, OSPF, static routing, ACLs.
• MPLS network management experience; WAN routers (Cisco/Juniper); SDN WAN solutions.
• Experience with Citrix Netscaler SLB or F5 SLB; Cisco ACI configuration; VMware NSX.

Experience in working with ITSM, BMC Entuity, SNOW APM, NPM tools.

Good understanding of VLAN, VTP, DTP, 802.1Q trunk, STP, MSTP, BGP, OSPF, Static routing, ACL, SNMP conifg, Wi‑Fi protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ae/ac)

Hands on experience of managing MPLS network connectivity

Should have experience of working on WAN routers (Cisco ASR, ISR or

Juniper SRX, MX etc.)

Should have experience of configuration and management of Cisco viptela and Silverpeak SDNWAN solution

Should have experience of working on Citrix Netscaler SLB or F5 SLB.

Should have experience of configuring Cisco ACI (Tenants, Bridge domains, End point groups, Security policy, VRFs etc.)

Should have experience of configuring Vmware, vsphere, NSX (NSX-V, NSX-T, TO/T1 routing, NSX load balancing, ACL policy configuration etc.

Should have experience of configuring Leaf‑Spine DC LAN architecture

Should have experience of using Wireshark, PACP analyzer

Should have experience of preparing network schematics in Lucid charts

/ Visio

Should be good in MS Office.

Work Experience
