Job summary

IMPRESSION MAKERS is seeking a Network Engineer L2 (Routing & Switching) for their Navi Mumbai location. The role requires 4+ years of experience and hands-on expertise in VLANs, routing protocols, and Cisco networking equipment.

You will configure VLANs, VTP, and InterVLAN routing, while tuning OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP. Expect responsibilities in subnet design, static routes, route redistribution, and SD-WAN knowledge.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of networking experience in routing and switching.
• Proficient with TCP/IP, routing protocols, and VLANs.
• Hands-on with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches.
• Familiar with QoS, MPLS, VPNs, and SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

• Configure VLANs, VTP, and InterVLAN routing.
• Tune and troubleshoot OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Manage static routes, route redistribution, and prefix lists.
• Design IPv4/IPv6 subnets and routing tables.
• Maintain firmware on routers, switches, and APs.
• Optimize traffic and convergence times.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and change control.
• Understand firewall basics and SD-WAN technologies.

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: JSW-Seawood, Navi Mumbai

Experience: 4+ Years Skillset: Level 2 Networking skills, Routing Switching,

Protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, STP (Spanning Tree), VTP, and RSTP. Switching Routing

Concepts: VLANs, VDC, VPC (Virtual Port Channel), and VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding).

Technologies: Cisco Networking, Cisco Nexus switches, Catalyst switches, MPLS, VPN (IPsec, SSL), and Quality of Service (QoS).

Qualification: Any Graduation Roles and Responsibilities

VLAN Configuration: Create and manage VLANs, Virtual Trunking Protocol (VTP), and InterVLAN routing Dynamic Routing Protocols: Configure, tune, and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP Traffic Forwarding: Manage Static Routes and implement routing policies, prefix lists, and route redistribution Subnetting Addressing: Design and maintain IPv4 and IPv6 subnets, routing tables, and default gateways Hardware Management: Provision, install, and upgrade firmware on routers, switches, and access points Network Tuning: Analyze traffic patterns to optimize routing metrics, improve convergence times, and adjust load balancing Change Control: Execute routine network changes, hardware replacements, and scheduled maintenance windows while minimizing downtime Firewall Configuration Knowledge of SD WAN Technologies
