Job summary

Trigent Software in Hyderabad is seeking a Network Engineer-IC2 with 3–5 years in Network Operations to join a 24/7 coverage team. You will handle routing, monitoring, incident response, and problem resolution across MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and firewall ecosystems.

The role demands hands-on JunOS expertise, familiarity with Cisco IOS, F5 load balancers, and strong tcpdump/Wireshark skills, plus scripting in Python/Ansible. Shift rotations apply.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of core networking protocols: 802.1q, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, NAT, ACLs, IPSEC, SNMP.
• Knowledge of MPLS is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with JunOS; Cisco IOS knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with F5 load-balancers is required.
• Proficiency with troubleshooting/monitoring tools like tcpdump and Wireshark.
• Scripting skills in Python, Ansible, Javascript and SDLC exposure (Agile) are highly preferred.
• Linux/Unix admin knowledge is a plus.
• Cumulus Linux knowledge is a plus.
• JNCIE or CCIE preferred.

Job Description

• Possess a solid understanding of and have experience with most of the following network technologies: 802.1q, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF, ISIS, MCLAG, BGP, NAT, ACLs, IPSEC, and SNMP.
• Knowledge of MPLS is a plus.
• Deep, hands‑on experience with TCP/IP (common packet headers, protocol innerworkings) and routing protocols (BGP, ISIS and OSPF).
• Solid knowledge and familiarity with Juniper's JunOS. Knowledge or experience with Cisco IOS considered a plus.
• Knowledge and experience of F5 load‑balancers required.
• In depth knowledge of troubleshooting and monitoring tools like tcpdump & Wireshark required.
• Software development/scripting skills (Python, Ansible, Javascript) and SDLC exposure (Agile) are highly preferred.
• Linux/unix basic system administration and troubleshooting knowledge are plus.
• Cumulus Linux knowledge and experience are a plus.
