LPL Financial Global Capability Center in Hyderabad is seeking a Network Engineer I to design, implement, and operate core network infrastructure across office locations and data centers. The role emphasizes LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, and load balancing with Cisco technologies and F5.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, monitor performance with SolarWinds and other tools, and collaborate with teams and vendors to deliver scalable, secure networking solutions for advisors and clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching.
• F5 LTM configuration and troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience with SD-WAN and wireless network design.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to lead network initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage core network infrastructure across office and data center environments.
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), and Nexus platforms.
• Build and manage F5 LTM VIPs, iRule, monitor health and troubleshoot application delivery issues.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement of the environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support business needs and ensure network scalability and reliability.
• Conduct packet captures and deep-dive analysis using tools like ExtraHop and LiveWire.
• Monitor network performance and availability using SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, and ThousandEyes.
• Participate in capacity planning, network optimization, and incident response.
• Document network diagram, configurations, and operational procedures.

Job Title: Network Engineer I – Core Network & F5 (2nd Shift)

Job Overview

LPL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead and support the core network infrastructure across office locations and data centers. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, and load balancing solutions, with a strong emphasis on Cisco technologies and F5 load balancers. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, exceptional troubleshooting skills, and hands‑on experience with network monitoring and performance optimization tools. This position is critical to delivering scalable, resilient, and secure networking solutions that support LPL, our advisors, and their clients.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, and manage core network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and WiFi across office and data center environments
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), and Nexus platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• Proven expertise in F5 LTM configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SD-WAN solutions and wireless network design. Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and lead network initiatives.
