Job summary

Waisl is seeking a Network Engineer Operations to assist in configuring and maintaining Juniper and Cisco devices. The role involves monitoring network performance, basic troubleshooting, and escalating complex issues to L2/L3 support.

You will document incidents and contribute to security policy implementation, firewall rule management, and deployment projects. Ideal candidates have foundational knowledge of Juniper and Cisco devices, routing protocols, and switching technologies, with teamwork

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Juniper (Junos OS) and Cisco (IOS/NX-OS) network devices.
• Understanding of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Familiarity with switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP, Virtual Chassis).

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and maintaining Juniper and Cisco devices.
• Monitor network performance using network management tools.

• Provide first-level support for network-related incidents.
• Document network issues, solutions, and processes accurately.

• Work closely with senior network engineers and other IT teams to support network projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Juniper (Junos OS) and Cisco (IOS/NX-OS) network devices.
• Understanding of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Familiarity with switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP, Virtual Chassis).

Certifications:

• Preferred: JNCIA (Juniper Networks Certified Associate) and/or CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).
