Job summary

Konverge Technologies is seeking a Network Field Engineer with 1-3 years of hands-on experience to troubleshoot, configure, and support client networks on-site. You will visit client locations, resolve escalations, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolutions, while maintaining network performance and documenting activities.

The role requires basic OSI knowledge, LAN/WAN concepts, and familiarity with EIGRP/OSPF; CCNA is a plus and willingness to travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication or a related field.
• CCNA certification will be an added advantage.
• 1-3 years of network field experience.
• Willingness to travel and visit client locations.

Job description

We are looking for a Network Field Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to provide network troubleshooting, configuration, and on-site technical support. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining network performance, resolving customer issues, and handling field visits as per client requirements.

Location

Both Halol and Baska based on project requirement

Roles And Responsibility

• Perform basic network troubleshooting and provide technical guidance to customers.
• Configure and troubleshoot basic LAN and WAN connectivity.
• Monitor, establish, and maintain network performance and connectivity.
• Use Console Cable and Putty for device configuration and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of networking concepts and the OSI model .
• Troubleshoot routing-related issues involving EIGRP, OSPF, and Static Routing .
• Visit client locations to resolve escalations and provide on-site technical support.
• Perform field-level network support activities as per client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure timely resolution of network issues.
• Document troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and site visits where required.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of networking concepts, LAN/WAN, and TCP/IP.
• Working knowledge of OSI networking layers .
• Hands-on knowledge of network device configuration using Console Cable and PuTTY .
• Basic working and troubleshooting knowledge of EIGRP, OSPF, and Static Routes .

Educational Qualification
