Job summary

Fibe in Pune is seeking a Network Engineer to manage and support the organization’s network infrastructure, monitor performance, troubleshoot connectivity, and assist with firewall and VPN configurations.

You will help ensure secure and reliable network operations, coordinate with IT teams, and maintain comprehensive network documentation for day-to-day business continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience with LAN/WAN networking concepts and network fundamentals.
• Hands-on familiarity with VLANs, DHCP, DNS.
• Understanding of firewall basics and network security.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to manage and support the organizations network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, supporting firewall and VPN configurations, and ensuring stable and secure network operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor LAN, WiFi, and Firewall network performance.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and network-related issues.
• Configure switch ports, VLANs, and basic routing.
• Support wireless access points and SSID configurations.
• Monitor firewall logs and security alerts.
• Assist in firewall rule and NAT configuration.
• Coordinate with IT teams and vendors.
• Maintain network documentation and reports.
• Perform network health checks and preventive maintenance.
• Configure and support Site-to-Site VPN and Remote VPN connections.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN networking.
• Understanding of WiFi technologies and troubleshooting.
