Job summary

Meta Infotech Ltd. is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to implement, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions.

The role focuses on securing infrastructure, managing firewall policies, and addressing security threats across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate hands-on experience with NGFW, IPS/IDS, VPN, and proxy technologies, along with strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, SIEM, and security monitoring

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall technologies.
• Knowledge of IPS/IDS, VPN, proxy and network security solutions.
• Understanding of network security architecture and threat prevention.
• Experience in firewall policy management and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms.
• Understanding of incident, problem and change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls.
• Implement firewall policies, security rules, NAT and access control policies.
• Manage firewall upgrades, patching and configuration backups.
• Review firewall rules periodically and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Perform firewall policy optimization and rule cleanup.

• Manage secure connectivity between enterprise networks, data centres and cloud environments.
• Work on network security architecture and infrastructure deployment.

We are looking for a skilled Network Security Engineer responsible for implementing, managing, monitoring and troubleshooting network security solutions. The candidate will be responsible for securing enterprise network infrastructure, managing firewall policies, identifying security threats and ensuring network protection in line with organizational security standards and client requirements.

Firewall Management & Administration

• Configure, manage and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls.
• Implement firewall policies, security rules, NAT and access control policies.
• Manage firewall upgrades, patching and configuration backups.
• Review firewall rules periodically and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Perform firewall policy optimization and rule cleanup.

Network Security Implementation

• Implement and manage network security solutions across enterprise environments.
• Manage secure connectivity between enterprise networks, data centres and cloud environments.
• Work on network security architecture and infrastructure deployment.

• Configure and manage technologies such:
  • Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
  • Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
  • Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
  • Secure Web Gateways / Proxy solutions.
  • Network Access Control (NAC).

Technical Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLAN and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall technologies.
• Knowledge of IPS/IDS, VPN, proxy and network security solutions.
• Understanding of network security architecture and threat prevention.
• Experience in firewall policy management and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
