Job summary

Talent Corner HR Services Pvt Ltd is seeking a Network Security Pre-Sales Engineer to translate client requirements into robust security solutions. You will support the Pre-Sales team with technical proposals, BoQs, and solution designs, and participate in client meetings, on-site inspections, and demonstrations.

You will design secure enterprise network architectures, work with vendors on product selection, and assist deployments while keeping up with evolving security technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Networking, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in Network Security, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity or Pre-Sales.
• Vendor certifications such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and translate business needs into technical security solutions.
• Support Pre-Sales in preparing technical proposals, solution designs, BoQs, presentations, and RFP responses.
• Attend client meetings, technical discussions, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
• Conduct onsite inspections and technical assessments to understand existing network infrastructure and security requirements.
• Design and recommend suitable Network Security solutions based on client requirements.
• Work on Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, Secure Web Gateway, NAC and related security technologies.
• Review existing network architecture and identify security gaps, risks, and improvement areas.
• Prepare network diagrams, technical documentation, solution architecture, and implementation plans.
• Coordinate with vendors and technology partners for solution design, product selection, and technical support.
• Assist the implementation team during deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Provide technical clarification to customers during sales and implementation cycle.
• Support PoC, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations.
• Stay updated with new network security technologies, products, and industry best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Network Security concepts and architecture.
• Hands-on knowledge of Firewalls and VPN technologies.
• Good understanding of IDS/IPS, NAT, ACL, Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Knowledge of network security products from vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Sophos, Check Point, or similar.
• Understanding of secure network design and enterprise network environments.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and cloud security will be an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot network and security-related issues.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals, BoQs, solution documents, and network diagrams is preferred.
• Strong ability to understand and document client technical requirements.
• Comfortable attending onsite client meetings and inspections.
• Ability to explain technical solutions in simple business language.
• Good presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with Sales, Pre-Sales, Implementation, and Vendor teams.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and onsite requirements.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in Network Security, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Pre-Sales.
• Candidates with relevant vendor certifications such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, or equivalent will be preferred.
