Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Network Engineer to install, configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with enterprise networking, Windows Server administration, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, backup solutions, network security, CCTV, biometric systems, and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Network Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and network infrastructure.
- Configure LAN, WAN, VPN, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and network connectivity.
- Monitor network performance and optimize availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot network outages, latency, and connectivity issues.
2. Server Administration
- Install and manage Windows Server environments.
- Configure and maintain Active Directory, Domain Controller, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP.
- Manage Microsoft SQL Server installation and basic administration.
- Perform server health monitoring and routine maintenance.
3. Microsoft 365 Administration
- Manage Microsoft 365 users, licenses, and groups.
- Configure Outlook, Exchange Online, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Create and manage user accounts for onboarding and offboarding.
- Generate Microsoft 365 reports and monitor security compliance.
4. Network Security
- Configure firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, and endpoint security solutions.
- Implement security policies and ensure compliance with IT standards.
- Monitor vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage password policies and access controls.
5. Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Configure and maintain server and user data backups.
- Perform backup verification and restoration testing.
- Implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
6. System Monitoring & Maintenance
- Monitor servers, network devices, and IT infrastructure using monitoring tools.
- Perform preventive maintenance and software updates.
- Upgrade systems and firmware while minimizing downtime.
7. Technical Support
- Provide Level 1 & Level 2 IT support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Resolve user issues within defined SLA timelines.
8. CCTV & Biometric Systems
- Configure, monitor, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
- Troubleshoot IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems, and network connectivity.
- Manage biometric attendance systems and ensure device uptime.
9. Documentation
- Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, IT asset inventory, and configuration records.
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and change management activities.
10. Collaboration
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for IT infrastructure projects.
- Support implementation of new technologies and IT initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, Microsoft Certified, Fortinet NSE, or CompTIA Network+ will be an added advantage.
