Job summary

TESTQ Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a Network Engineer to manage and support enterprise network infrastructure across multiple Bangalore locations. The role covers end-to-end network operations, incident management, vendor coordination, on-site support, and infrastructure maintenance to ensure high network availability.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of SD-WAN, Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN, and wireless networks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN, Wireless Networks, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience in network operations, incident management, and vendor coordination.
• Hands-on experience with physical network infrastructure, cabling, and connectivity management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites within the Bangalore region.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2/L3 support for SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, and Wireless Networks.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents within defined SLAs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for network support across Bangalore locations.
• Perform onsite activities including switch installation, cabling, patching, and hardware maintenance.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and field engineers for WAN/Internet issue resolution.
• Manage hardware lifecycle activities, including RMA processing and EOS/EOL equipment maintenance.
• Support network deployments, upgrades, handovers and infrastructure changes.
• Assist with audits by maintaining network documentation and compliance.
• Handle user requests related to network connectivity and expansion.
• Collaborate with OSS, Desktop Support, project teams and stakeholders.
• Travel to multiple Bangalore sites as required.

The role involves end-to-end network operations, incident management, vendor coordination, on-site support, and infrastructure maintenance to ensure high network availability and business continuity

Key Responsibilities

• - Provide L1/L2/L3 support for SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, and Wireless Networks.
• - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents, outages, and service disruptions within defined SLAs.
• - Act as the primary point of contact for network support across Bangalore locations.
• - Perform onsite network activities, including switch installation, cabling, patching, connectivity validation, and hardware maintenance.
• - Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and field engineers for WAN, Internet, fiber, and network-related issue resolution. - Manage hardware lifecycle activities, including RMA processing, device replacements, and maintenance of EOL/EOS equipment.
• - Support network deployments, upgrades, operational handovers, and infrastructure change activities.
• - Assist with internal and external audits by maintaining network documentation, infrastructure records, and compliance requirements.
• - Handle user requests related to network connectivity, switch port activation, and infrastructure expansion.
• - Collaborate with OSS, Desktop Support, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• - Travel to multiple Bangalore sites as required to support operations and project activities

Required Skills s Experience

• - Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN, Wireless Networks, and Network Troubleshooting.
• - Experience in network operations, incident management, and vendor coordination.
• - Hands-on expertise in physical network infrastructure, cabling, and connectivity management.
• - Familiarity with ISP management, network monitoring tools, and service management processes.
• - Good communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• - Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites within the Bangalore region
