Job summary

Velocitai Digital in Bengaluru is seeking an network operations professional to handle backbone network issues and provide L1 support. The role focuses on troubleshooting node isolation, hardware and logical problems, and monitoring ISIS/BGP protocols.

You will monitor device and fiber-related alarms, coordinate incident handling, and work with Nokia/WDM equipment to resolve complex network incidents. Strong ticketing and monitoring tool usage are essential.

Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day backbone network issues and provide L1 operational support.
Perform L1 troubleshooting for node isolation, hardware, logical, and network errors.
Monitor ISIS and BGP network protocols.
Monitor device isolation and related network alarms.
Monitor fiber-related alarms in circuits and take actions.
Monitor Cisco devices including AG1-AG4 and TOR switches.
Resolve Trouble Tickets related to network incidents and alarms.
Monitor fiber link-down alarms in WDM devices.
Support WDM issue resolution involving Nokia devices.
Coordinate incident handling for timely resolution.
Use monitoring and operational tools for troubleshooting and ticketing.

Monitor Cisco network devices including AG1, AG2, AG3, AG4, and TOR switches.
Monitor and resolve Trouble Tickets (TTs) related to network incidents and alarms.
Monitor fiber link-down alarms in WDM devices.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of WDM-related issues involving Nokia devices.
Coordinate incident handling and ensure timely resolution of assigned network issues.
Use network monitoring and operational tools for troubleshooting, monitoring, and ticket resolution.
