Kumaran Systems in Chennai seeks an experienced .NET Technical Lead to design, develop, and guide enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentorship to development teams, ensuring scalable and secure solutions.

The candidate should have 10+ years in .NET, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, EF, and modern DevOps in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• SQL Server and database design knowledge.
• Experience with EF/ORM tools.
• Cloud platforms (Azure or others) experience.
• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of scalable .NET applications.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced .NET Technical Lead with over 10 years of hands‑on experience in designing, developing, and leading enterprise‑level applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentorship to development teams, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications using .NET technologies (.NET Core / .NET Framework / ASP.NET).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Define application architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to design patterns and quality standards.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide performance optimization solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure proper documentation of architecture, processes, and technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in development practices, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong expertise in:

• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design.
• Experience with Entity Framework / ORM tools.

• Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and software architecture.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of React / Angular or other frontend frameworks.
• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
