Job summary

Kumaran Systems in Chennai is seeking a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Golang and Java to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. You will work with microservices, cloud-native tech, CI/CD, and advanced database development.

You'll implement secure JWT-based auth, Redis caching, and use Docker/Kubernetes to containerize and deploy applications. Collaboration with Agile teams and code reviews are essential to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years backend development experience in Java and/or Golang.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native tech.
• Experience with REST and gRPC APIs, Spring Framework/Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of Redis and JWT authentication.
• Proficiency with Maven/Gradle, and GitHub/Azure DevOps workflows.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment.
• Strong SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Golang and Java (Java 8+).
• Build and enhance RESTful and gRPC APIs to support business and system integrations.
• Develop applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT.
• Utilize Redis for caching, session management, and performance optimization.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Integrate and manage messaging solutions using Solace Queue and event-driven architectures.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Enterprise, and Azure DevOps.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage workloads in Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Analyze technical documentation and convert business and technical requirements into efficient, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Summary
