Job summary

Kumaran Systems in Chennai, India, is seeking an experienced .NET Developer with 4-7 years to join our engineering team. You will design, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL Server, while integrating Node.js services and RESTful APIs.

The role emphasizes cloud awareness (Azure), CI/CD practices, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions for Banking/Financial services clients.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in application development, enhancement, and defect fixing.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET 3.5 and SQL Server.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC and .NET Core.
• Experience with Node.js development and integration.
• Proficiency in SQL Server including database development, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with ADO.NET and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of IIS deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of Azure services and cloud deployment.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Additional attributes: experience in Banking/Financial Services; CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps familiarity; managing multiple priorities; proactive learning.
