Job summary

Kumaran Systems is hiring a Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications. You will work on Java-based back-end services, front-end using HTML5/CSS3/JS, and modern JS frameworks.

The role requires strong RESTful API design, experience with Spring Boot, and collaboration in an Agile/DevOps environment. Familiarity with databases (RDBMS/NoSQL) and CI/CD pipelines is essential for delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Strong Java (8+) experience with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript and modern JS frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java and front-end frameworks.
• Develop RESTful APIs / microservices with Java/Spring Boot.
• Build responsive UIs with HTML5/CSS3/JS and frameworks such as Angular/React/Vue.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, and DevOps to deliver features on time.
• Write clean, modular code and follow standards.
• Integrate with databases (RDBMS/NoSQL) and external systems.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and tech decisions.
• Implement unit/integration tests and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Contribute to design docs and API specs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintainend-to-end web applicationsusing Java and front-end frameworks.


• DevelopRESTful APIs / microservicesusing Java, Spring / Spring Boot.


• Buildresponsive, user-friendly UIsusing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular / React / Vue (as per project stack).


• Collaborate witharchitects, business analysts, QA, and DevOpsto deliver high-quality features on time.


• Writeclean, modular, testablecode following coding standards and best practices.


• Integrate applications withdatabases(RDBMS/NoSQL) and external systems.


• Participate incode reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.


• Implementunit tests, integration tests, and support automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.


• Troubleshoot and resolveproduction issues, performance bottlenecks, and defects.


• Contribute totechnical documentation(design documents, API specs, deployment guides).
