Job summary

Neosem is seeking a Field Service Engineer (FSE) to install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment at customer sites in Gujarat. You will perform preventive maintenance, manage service logs, calibrate tools and coordinate with the local team to ensure timely resolutions and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelors in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, are fluent in English, and have 5+ years of experience servicing semiconductor SSD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• English fluent.
• Automation 5+ years experience servicing semiconductor SSD test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.
• Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications.
• Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times.
• Maintaining customer service logs and internal service records.
• Daily communication with customers for resolution and follow-up; ensure calibration.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Escalation process to resolve service delivery issues.
• Work with local team to provide efficient service across accounts.

Role & responsibilities

The FSE performs the major functions listed below.

The position may require additional duties/responsibilities that may not be outlined below, and specific functions are subject to change.

• Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.
• Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications.
• Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times.
• Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
• Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up. Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.
• Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues.
• Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area

Working Condition

• Working Days : 5 days (Monday to Friday)
• Working Hours : 8 hours per day
• Working Location : Gujarat, Ahmedabad, India
• Monthly Salary: 7.5 lpa ~ 9.5 lpa

Mandatory Qualification & Skills
