SYSTRA is seeking a Junior Engineer (Renewable Energy) for the Kochi Metro Project. The candidate will perform energy audits, review electrical drawings, and oversee renewable energy system operations to meet safety and project standards.

Ideal candidates have electrical engineering qualifications and strong English communication, with experience in metro or large infrastructure projects. This role is based in Kochi, India.

Qualificações

• Graduate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 2 years experience for Graduates; 5 years experience for Diploma in relevant field.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse organization and solve problems.

Responsabilidades

• Conducting detailed energy audits to identify opportunities for efficiency in metro systems.
• Prepare or review electrical drawings, specifications, and tender documents including cost-benefit analyses.
• Supervising operation, maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems, ensuring safety and standards.
• Ensure safety compliance, conduct safety and ethics trainings per policy and training programs.
• Promote environment policy awareness and adherence across the project team.

SYSTRA is GENERAL CONSULTANT (GC) FOR PHASE-II CORRIDOR FROM JLN STADIUM TO INFOPARK VIA KAKKANAD OF KOCHI METRO RAIL PROJECT.

We are seeking applications for the role N3 - Junior Engineer (Renewable Energy) in Kochi Metro Project.

Missions/Main Duties

• Conducting detailed energy audits to identify specific opportunities for improving energy efficiency of metro system in consultation with client.
• Prepare or review technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, tender documents including cost benefit analysis to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements
• Supervising the operation, maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Ensure the safety compliances, conduct safety training as per group policy mainly 3S training.
• Ensure every team member must have gone through Business Ethics and compliance training
• Ensure every project member has knowledge of Environment policy of company.
• Each Member of team had gone through 9 lifesaving rules
• Each individual had gone through the Anti-Corruption training

Profile/Skills

• Graduate/Diploma in Electrical Engg. from a recognized Institution.
• Minimum experience of 2 years in relevant field for Graduates and minimum 1 years experience should be in similar role. Minimum experience of 5 years in relevant field for Diploma and minimum 2 years experience should be in similar role.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
