Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for the Field Engineer(Systems) role at New Delhi Railway station redevelopment project. You will implement MEPF systems, coordinate with architects and engineers, and guide team members to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The position requires graduates or diploma holders in electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering with relevant experience, and a commitment to safety and ethics across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Graduate engineers with 2 years experience and 1 year in similar role.
  • Diploma holders with 5 years experience and 3 years in similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of MEPF systems for the NDLS redevelopment project.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEPF systems.
  • Collaborate with various disciplines for clash detection and resolution during design.
  • Provide technical inputs in construction and execution of MEPF systems.
  • Mentor and guide field engineers in the team.
  • Contribute to project planning with timelines and resource estimates.
  • Monitor costs and ensure alignment with budgets.
  • Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance for MEPF systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation related to MEPF systems.

Our involvement spans the entire project lifecycle, ensuring comprehensive support throughout each stage of implementation.

We are seeking applications for the position of Field Engineer(Systems) for New Delhi Railway station redevelopment project based at New Delhi.

Missions/Main Duties
  • Implementation of MEPF systems for the NDLS redevelopment project.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in system design.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEPF systems seamlessly within the project.
  • Coordinate with various disciplines for clash detection and resolution in the design phase.
  • Provide technical inputs in the construction and execution of MEPF systems, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide field engineers in the team.
  • Contribute to project planning by providing inputs on timelines, resource requirements, and potential challenges related to MEPF systems.
  • Monitor and control costs related to MEPF systems to ensure alignment with project budgets.
  • Provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure MEPF systems meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance during construction.
  • Identify potential risks related to MEPF systems and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to address and resolve emerging challenges.
  • Stay abreast of changing regulations and codes related to MEPF systems.
  • Ensure project designs adhere to all applicable regulations and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation related to MEPF systems.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure the safety compliances, conduct safety training as per group policy mainly 3S training.
  • Ensure every team member must have gone through Business Ethics and compliance training
  • Ensure every project member has knowledge of Environment policy of company.
  • Ensure each member of team has gone through 9 lifesaving rule
Profile/Skills
  • For Graduate (Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical) engineer- Having 2 years' experience and Minimum 1 year in similar position and project.
  • For Diploma (Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical) engineer- Having 5 years' experience and Minimum 3 years in similar position and project.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance of the Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.
