Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years for Graduates and 7 years for Diploma holders in relevant field, with at least 2 years in elevated metro rail or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; excellent written and verbal English communication.

SYSTRA is the GENERAL CONSULTANT (GC) FOR PHASE-II CORRIDOR FROM JLN STADIUM TO INFOPARK VIA KAKKANAD OF KOCHI METRO RAIL PROJECT.

Currently we are seeking applications for the position of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Kochi Metro Project.

Missions/Main Duties

• Manage and lead the efforts of the inspection and quality assurance of the project related to the construction program of the project.
• Make field visits and inspections of ongoing construction including station construction under various field conditions,
• Interface management with various stakeholders and submit periodic reports to relevant authorities.

Profile/Skills

• Graduate/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in relevant field for Graduates & 7 years for Diploma holders, out of which minimum 2 years experience should be in the desired role in elevated metro rail projects / transportation infrastructure bridge projects.
• Experience in MS Office, AutoCAD is MUST
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
