Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for a Junior Engineer (Track) to support construction supervision and monitoring on the Kochi Metro Project. The role requires graduates or diploma holders in Civil Engineering with strong English communication and the ability to work in a diverse team.

The candidate should have 5 years experience for graduates or 7 years for diploma holders, including at least 2 years in ballastless track works for metro rail or rail-based transit projects, and should be ready

We are seeking applications for the role Junior Engineer (Track) in Kochi Metro Project

Missions/Main Duties

• Assistance in Construction Supervision & Monitoring
• Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and social aspects management
• Assistance in TESTING, COMMISSIONING AND TRIAL RUNS
• Preparation of Manuals for construction, administration, operation, and maintenance of Any state Metro
• Ensure the safety compliances, conduct safety training as per group policy mainly 3S training.
• Ensure every team member must have gone through Business Ethics and compliance training
• Ensure every project member has knowledge of Environment policy of company.
• Each Member of team had gone through 9 lifesaving rules
• Each individual had gone through the Anti-Corruption training.

Profile/Skills

• Graduate/diploma in Civil Engg. from a reputed institution.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in relevant field for Graduates & 7 years for Diploma holders, out of which minimum 2 years experience should be in similar role in execution of Ballastless track works for metro rail projects/rail based transit projects.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
