Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Digital Design lessons for Grades 7-10.
• Develop inquiry-based, concept-driven units aligned with MYP concepts.
• Facilitate the design cycle from ideation to evaluation of digital solutions.
• Encourage problem-solving, computational thinking, and creativity through real-world design challenges.
• Teach and support skills in graphic design, coding, app/web design, and multimedia production.

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative MYP Digital Design Educator to teach students of Grades 7 to 10. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of digital design, computational thinking, and problem-solving using technology. The ideal teacher will be skilled in designing concept-based, inquiry-driven units aligned with the MYP Design framework and adept at integrating modern digital tools to foster creativity, innovation, and real-world application.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Digital Design lessons for Grades 7-10.
• Develop inquiry-based and concept-driven units aligned with MYP Key and Related Concepts, Global Contexts, and Approaches to Learning (ATL).
• Facilitate the design cycle, guiding students through inquiry, ideation, creation, and evaluation of digital solutions.
• Encourage problem-solving, computational thinking, and creativity through real-world design challenges.
• Teach and support skills in areas such as graphic design, coding, app development, web design, and multimedia production (as applicable).
• Use a variety of teaching methods and strategies to cater to different learning needs and styles.
• Assess student understanding through a range of formative and summative tasks aligned with MYP assessment criteria.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance collaboration, creativity, and reflection.
• Support the development of students research, communication, and thinking skills through project-based learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

Work Timings: Monday to Saturday | 7:40 AM - 3:45 PM
