Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme Design Technology curriculum.
• Create an inquiry‑driven classroom environment that promotes conceptual understanding and student‑led learning.
• Facilitate the design cycle, guiding students through research, ideation, development, and evaluation of design solutions.
• Design and assess formative and summative tasks in accordance with IB assessment criteria.
• Guide students in planning and executing their Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays (EE) related to Design Technology.
• Integrate technology, digital tools, and practical applications into classroom instruction.
• Support students in developing skills in areas such as product design, digital design, prototyping, and innovation. Maintain accurate student records, grades, and progress reports.
• Provide academic mentorship and pastoral care to students.
• Participate in curriculum review, collaborative planning, and IB training workshops.
• Contribute to school‑wide initiatives, events, and professional development activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Design, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in digital design tools, CAD software, and prototyping techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
