Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is hiring for an MVS Assembler role with 3+ years of experience. The incumbent will work on IBM Mainframe assembler development, JCL, and related technologies in a banking/financial context.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing assembler-based solutions, participating in SDLC, and collaborating with onshore/offshore teams. Strong analytical and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• 1 6+ Years of Experience in IBM Mainframe Assembler
• Very Strong Knowledge on IBM Mainframe Assembler
• Experience in IBM Mainframe, Cobol, PL/1, DB2, JCL, ISPW, ISPF, MQ series
• Expertise in designing, development of IBM Mainframe Assembler based Applications
• Experience in writing HLD, LLD and data flow diagrams
• Experience with Banking domain, Line of credit and Retail Banking Industry.
• Strong Analysis and Design experience in complex applications
• Expertise & Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience in working with Onshore / Offshore model
• Experience with Team Management, Technical Leadership & Mentoring
• Expert in managing and executing all phases of SDLC
• Strong analytical, relationship management, Presentation, Written & Verbal communication skills.
