Job summary

Luxoft seeks an experienced Murex L2 Support professional to manage day-to-day production support for Murex front office users, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure stable operations.

You will own high-severity issues, participate in RCA, and support rollout of new versions, while continuously learning and communicating across business units to improve service quality.

Qualifications

• 6 to 9 years of experience in L2 Support of Murex front office module.
• Knowledge in Murex applications: Simulation, pre-trade debugging, e-trade pad, GOM, PNL, PLVA.
• Strong SQL, Unix Shell scripting and Linux expertise.

Responsibilities

• Track and provide optimum service levels for day-to-day production support for the Murex users.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors/other support teams to provide a seamless support model.
• Own high-severity issues and drive them to closure.
• Participate in RCA and provide preventive solutions for production stability.
• Assist in rolling out new versions of the application per release management procedures.
• Learn new things and communicate effectively across different business and support units.

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• To track and be responsible for providing optimum service levels for day-to-day production support for the Murex users (Front office, back office, Finance, etc)
• To collaborate with third-party vendors/other support teams to provide a seamless support model for the business
• Able to take ownership of high-severity issues and follow through to closure
• Answerable to business users and provide strategic long-term solutions participate in RCA and provide pre-emptive solutions for production stability
• To assist in rolling out of new version of the application adhering to the best practices of the release management procedures
• To be able to drive himself/herself to learn new things while dealing with daily production support
• To communicate effectively and work efficiently across different Business and support units

SKILLS

Must have

• 6 to 9 years of experience in L2 Support of Murex front office module
• Knowledge in Murex application, Simulation, pre-trade debugging, simulation, e-trade pad, GOM, PNL, PLVA, SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Linux
• Strong knowledge of Murex front office Module
• Good understanding of GOM module, trade lifecycle
• Able to handle front-office booking issues
• Strong debugging knowledge of pre-trade rules and debugging
• Able to write SQL code
• Strong knowledge of MSL, access rights, portfolio tree, e-trade pad, and Simulation
• Have to work on simulation / PNL mismatch issues
• Able to support Murex functional module independently

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied by excellent communication
