Job summary

Luxoft in Hyderabad is seeking an L1 Production Support specialist for Banking applications including Murex-related environments. You will resolve incidents, monitor systems, and collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to maintain stability and performance.

The role requires Unix and SQL skills, strong analytical ability, and effective communication to liaise with Front to Back stakeholders. Extended hours may be needed to address critical issues.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of Banking L1 production support experience.
• Hands-on Unix experience.
• Hands-on SQL experience.
• Experience with production monitoring and alerting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of modern technology standards and tools.
• Exposure to capital markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Resolve production incidents promptly with minimal business impact.

ITT (Investment Trading Technology) team supports T&M (Treasury and Markets) and is looking for the right individual to support Murex 3.1 applications. Murex is one of the leading applications in the areas of global trading, risk management, and trade processing, and we are using it across asset classes, Front to Risk to Back in a setup with multiple production environments and grids, connections to many upstream and downstream systems.This challenging role provides a unique opportunity to support a community of hundreds of regional users belonging to Front-Office, Operations, Finance, Credit & Market Risk, and Limits Management. In this dynamic environment, the team will also strive to improve the system stability through continuous improvement and participate in the ambitious pipeline of projects.

Responsibilities

• Resolve production incidents in a smooth and timely manner with minimal impact to business.
• Put in controls and checks in place to monitor and smooth the functioning of production systems.
• Investigate and understand the cause of defects raised.
• Stakeholder relationships across all groups within the Bank, ensuring alignment with common objectives and fulfillment of criteria and requirements across the various businesses and units.
• Member of the development/ implementation team (including offshore) working on assigned tasks, projects, and it initiatives.
• Interacts with members and other functional teams, including members of the offshore team.
• Work with team members participating in shadowing and training activities.
• Adhere to information controls and security frameworks/ procedures, including the change and incident management process.
• Provide general administrative support to the team, including meetings, knowledge transfer, and activity reporting.
• You are expected to work in extended hours (shifts & weekends) on a need basis.
• Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
• Day-to-day delivery and support of key treasury systems/initiatives.
• Work efficiently and prioritize system enhancement/upgrades.

SKILLS

Must have

• Overall 1 to 4 years of experience in Banking application L1 production support.
• First-hand experience with Unix and SQL.
• Exposure to production monitoring.
• Superior technical, analytical, and communication capabilities.
• Current on new technology, standards, protocols, and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment.
• Well-versed in digital technologies, automation, environment support, and key technology/vendor solutions.
• Exposure to capital market experience.
